Account types and subscription access
What this page covers
This page explains how WebHammers account access works from a user's point of view. It covers signing in, trial access, monthly and annual subscription access, personal and Team access, and the account settings you may see in WebHammers.
Use this page when you need to understand whether your account can create Configurations, run Tools, use shared Team Configurations, or manage subscription access.

Account access types
WebHammers account access can appear as trial access, monthly subscription access, or annual subscription access.
| Access type | What it means | Common uses | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trial | A 30-day access period that starts after a user's first successful sign-in | Trying Tools, creating Configurations, running sample workflows, and confirming that outputs match expectations | When the trial ends, WebHammers asks the user to start paid access to continue using WebHammers |
| Monthly | Paid subscription access using the monthly billing cycle | Continuing regular WebHammers work after the trial | The Subscription tab lets you choose Monthly and start checkout |
| Annual | Paid subscription access using the annual billing cycle | Continuing regular WebHammers work with an annual billing period | The Subscription tab lets you choose Annual and start checkout |
The Account screen may also show access states such as Active, Trial expired, Payment required, Past due, Canceled, or Paused.
Trial access
Trial access lasts 30 days. During an active trial, you can use the WebHammers features included with trial access.
Use the trial period to:
- try Tools with sample or representative Files
- create personal Configurations
- run Tools and review outputs
- test whether a saved Configuration works with Files that use the same expected Fields
- explore Team workflows if your account has Team access
- decide which access option is appropriate after the trial
When the trial ends, the Account screen may show Trial expired and a message that a paid subscription is needed to continue using WebHammers. Configuration and Run-related actions may be blocked until access is restored.
Monthly subscription access
Monthly subscription access means your account has paid access on the monthly billing cycle.
On the Account page, open the Subscription tab to review the current Plan, billing cycle, verified access, period date, and billing status. You can also choose Monthly from Choose plan, use Start checkout, and use Refresh billing to reload the latest billing status.
The Account screen may show Renews / Expires for the current period date. Use Manage billing for billing changes that are available for your account. Do not rely on the documentation for renewal, cancellation, refund, or tax rules; review the information shown during checkout or in your billing management screen.
If monthly access is not active, WebHammers may show Payment required, Past due, Canceled, or Paused. In those states, Configuration and Run-related actions may be blocked until billing access is restored.
Annual subscription access
Annual subscription access means your account has paid access on the annual billing cycle.
Annual access uses the same WebHammers account and Tool workflow as monthly access. The main user-facing difference is the billing cycle selected on the Subscription tab.
On the Account page, open the Subscription tab to choose Annual, start checkout, refresh billing, or open Manage billing when billing management is available for your account.
The Account screen may show Renews / Expires or Access through, depending on the current account status. If annual access is canceled, past due, paused, or otherwise not allowed, Configuration and Run-related actions may be blocked until access is restored.
Personal access and Team access
WebHammers can be used in a personal context or a Team context.
Use Personal when you are working with Configurations that belong to your own account. Personal Configurations are listed for the signed-in user who created them.
Use a Team when several users need to work with shared Configurations. The top navigation includes a Team selector that can show Personal, your Teams, and Manage Teams.... Selecting a Team changes the active context so Tool pages can show Configurations for that Team.
Team roles and shared Configurations
The Teams page includes Pending Team Invitations, My Teams, Create Team, Team details, Members, Invites, and Invite member.
Team roles shown in WebHammers include Admin, Editor, Runner, and Viewer.
| Role | What the role can usually do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Manage Team details, invite members, change member roles, remove members, and create or edit Team Configurations |
| Editor | Create and edit Team Configurations |
| Runner | Run Team Configurations |
| Viewer | View Team Configurations when they have Team access, but not run them |
Team members can accept or decline pending Team invitations. Admins can revoke pending invites and remove members. Non-admin members can leave a Team from the Teams page.
When working with Team Configurations, check that the correct Team is selected before creating, editing, or running a Configuration. This is especially important if you switch between Personal and Team contexts during the same work session.
Account settings you may see
The Account page includes these sections:
| Section | What you can review or change |

| Notifications | Choose notification preferences such as email or in-app notification when a Run completes. |
| Privacy | Review account deletion controls shown in the account screen. |
Select Save changes after updating editable account settings.
What WebHammers stores
WebHammers jobs run on your machine. Your data stays on your machine during Tool processing. WebHammers servers store Configurations so they can be reused, shared, and managed. A Configuration may include information such as the Field names from your data files.
Review your organization's requirements before using sensitive data. WebHammers documentation does not replace your internal data handling, privacy, or compliance policies.
For a practical explanation of Files, datasets, Configurations, Runs, Field names, and Team sharing, see Data security and data handling.
