Run Deduplicator

After you choose the input and select a Configuration, you are ready to run Deduplicator.

Typical run steps​

  1. open the Deduplicator Tool
  2. select the input File or dataset
  3. choose the Configuration you want to use
  4. review the Run details
  5. start the Run
  6. review the result when processing finishes

What to check before you run​

Make sure:

  • the input is the correct version of the data
  • the Configuration matches the business goal
  • the output will be reviewed before it is used downstream

Review the result​

After the Run completes, inspect representative Records and confirm that the outcome makes sense.

Look for questions such as:

  • Were the right records affected?
  • Did the output preserve the data you expected to keep?
  • Do any Records need follow-up review?

If the result is not what you expected​

Return to the Configuration, adjust the Rule set, and test again on a smaller sample File if needed.
